Mima Shafa's Story Debuts Acting In A Normal Woman

JAKARTA - Mima Shafa made the film A Normal Woman her debut in acting. In this film, she plays Angel, the only child of the Milla (Mariansa Anita) and Jonathan (Dion Wiyoko) couple.

Through her first role, Mima feels matched with her character who has the dynamics in dealing with her parents' problems.

"Surely we don't live alone in this life and we live with our families. In my opinion, children have no responsibility for what their parents do because their children have no decision to live from their parents," Mima Shafa said at a press conference in South Jakarta on Wednesday, July 23.

"What I see is that Angel's role is attracting, she's young but she understands and understands her parents," he said.

Angel's character also has its own problems that are relevant to what is experienced by today's generation. He also admitted that he had felt like a character.

"You gotta cut theies the general trauma so what he did was what the parents did beforehand. Angel was brave enough to cut theies," explained Mima Shafa.

"Because I myself, even though Angel is younger than me, I feel that Gen-z is now better aware and open-minded because of the exposure of information. This character is like a mate because in the real world, I was the first to experience it. Actually, everyone has a different response," he said.

On the other hand, director Lucky Kuswandi expressed his interest in making A Normal Woman start from learning what healing is.

"Often it holds [self-improvement but it turns out that self-retirieval is taking on us who are missing. I'm interested in the idea of what I think we don't have Milla but feel the moment erased because we are playing a role," said Lucky Kuswandi.

There will be a point maybe we don't realize it's not normal. The most intelligence is that our body gives the alarm. In the form of Milla it's skin rash. It's the way our bodies communicate," he said.
