Once In A Film, Adam Sandler Makes Tributes For Ozzy Osbourne

JAKARTA - Adam Sandler made a tribute to musician Ozzy Osbourne who died on Tuesday, July 22 local time. Both are co-stars in the film Little Nicky which aired in 2000.

In the film, Osbourne made a cameo by helping the character Nicky played by Sandler to fight one of his enemies. He helps by biting the bat's head which is one of Osbourne's characteristics while on stage.

Moments after the sad news broke, Adam Sandler shared a photo of Ozzy Osbourne's scene in Little Nicky.

"Both we were underground with our brothers, in the forest with our friends, in the car, barrel party, on the boat, at football practice, at the inn ... No one is even better off sounding our speakers than the only dark prince, Ozzy Osbourne," wrote Adam Sandler.

Very loving him! Sending love to family and happy to be able to spend time with the legend. RIP," wrote the 58-year-old actor.

The Osbourne family made the statement that the sad news was confirmed by the family and requested privacy from the public.

"It is with a sad feeling that words cannot be expressed, we must provide news that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning," the Osbourne family said.

She is with her family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect the privacy of our current family," she said.

Ozzy Osbourne died two weeks after appearing with Black Sabbath on his final stage in Birmingham on 5 July.
