Andrew Andika Responds To Redflag Label: It's Not Your Right To Judge

JAKARTA - Actor Andrew Andika opened his voice about public views on his past, especially after he was labeled as "redflag" in a romantic relationship.

He emphasized that everyone has the opportunity to change and become a better person.

"Yes, I'm sure it's not just me who can become a redflag, so, it doesn't seem like it's your right to judge whether the person can redflag or not," said Andrew Andika when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday, July 14.

According to Andrew, the past does not always determine a person's future. He believes that the intention to change can lead a person to become a better person, regardless of past mistakes.

"After all, many people who already have a bad past or all kinds of things, when they really want to change, they change into better people. Later it will also be proven when they have passed it all," he continued.

After going through various life experiences, Andrew admitted that he is now more careful and chooses to get closer to good values, including religion.

"Maybe it's more aware and knows which one is good and bad, can take better care of the heart, can get closer to religion, try to make myself aware of the temptation and things that are out there, that's it," he said.

However, he did not deny that his past made it difficult for him to try to convince his partner's family.

"Yes (it's difficult to convince your partner's family), because I'm also... everyone knows what happened," explained Andrew.

Even so, he is grateful because in the end his partner's family can accept him with open arms.

"But Alhamdulillah, they want to accept it, Alhamdulillah they can accept me as I am and they are very kind in responding to it and instead they support it," he concluded.
