JAKARTA - Young actress Kawai Labiba expressed her enthusiasm and interesting experience when she made her debut in a horror film in the films Book Sijjin and Illiyyin.
He said this during an interview with VOI in the Cikini area, Central Jakarta, recently, Kawai admitted that he learned a lot of new things during the production process.
"It's really fun (to play horror films) and I've learned a lot of new things in this production, especially if there are so many technical horror films," said Kawai.
"So, indeed I also learn how to store energy and share the technicality and the feeling to put it in every scene," he continued.
Although he did not mention his experience as a burden, Kawai called the process an exciting challenge that was very memorable.
He felt helped by the presence of senior players and a solid production team.
"But for sure, even though I can't say it's hard, this is an exciting challenge for me, fortunately there is also Hadrah's mother, other cast friends too, who helps me," he said.
One of the biggest challenges he faces is when he has to perform scenes with very intense emotions.
"(One of the challenges) Maybe in some intense scenes, it requires really high emotions. So after being cut with Mrs. Hadrah, often I haven't reached myself again," Kawai said.
Kawai said that he was almost carried away by his character in this film after undergoing the shooting process. Fortunately, with the help of Dinda Anya Dewi as an opposing player, Kawai was able to get through these difficulties.
"What I was finally taught was Dinda's way back, 'Let's Kawai come back here, hold the floor, look at his fingers, breathe, calm down'," he continued.
