JAKARTA - Cases of sexual violence based on blood fantasy that had gone viral on social media highlighted the urgent need for psychological, legal, and social assistance for victims.
In responding to this phenomenon, the Commission for Women, Youth and Family (KPRK) of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) together with the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) and the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) expressed their readiness to provide comprehensive protection and assistance for victims.
"KPRK MUI together with KemenPPPA and KPAI will move actively in providing assistance to survivors of sexual violence. There needs to be synergy with the community to identify and report if something similar happens in the surrounding environment," said Chairman of the KPRK MUI, Siti Ma'rifah, as quoted by ANTARA.
This case stems from the disclosure of a Facebook group containing deviant content related to sexual fantasies against family members of the inbreeding. The group drew widespread criticism after it became public attention, and the police have arrested six people involved in its creation.

Siti Ma'rifah appealed to the victim not to be afraid to speak up and fight the perpetrators, even though family relations could be a factor that causes pressure. He also expressed deep concern and strong criticism of the existence of a deviant community like this, which he said was very contrary to religious, moral, and humanitarian values.
"This kind of act is a serious violation of religious norms and decency, as well as degrading human dignity," he stressed.
He urged law enforcement to take firm action against parties involved and close all accounts and platforms that are a means of spreading the deviant content.
Furthermore, Siti invites the public to strengthen religious values and moral education at the family level, as a preventive effort to face the challenges of moral decade in the digital era.
Families should be the safest places of protection, especially for children. We must ensure that children's mental, physical, and spiritual health is protected so that they grow into a healthy, dignified, and noble generation," he said.
He also emphasized that the practice and fantasy of blood are very clearly prohibited in Islamic teachings. In Letter An-Nisa verse 23, Allah SWT explicitly states that the relationship between inbreeding is haram.
