JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has adjusted the schedule of travel on the Jabodebek LRT during peak hours starting Monday (15/6), as a step to accommodate the high mobility of public transportation users in the Jabodebek area.

The adjustment is carried out by adding the frequency of morning trips on weekdays so as to provide flexibility in the travel schedule for users of the Jabodebek LRT in their daily mobility more comfortably and efficiently.

This adjustment was implemented after an evaluation was previously carried out on the operation of the Extraordinary Train (KLB) trial to increase the frequency of travel during the morning rush hour on Monday (8/6) to Friday (12/6).

Manager of Public Relations of the Jabodebek LRT, Radhitya Mardika, said that the adjustment of the schedule was a form of adaptation of the service to the evolving mobility patterns of users.

"To increase the comfort of users of the Jabodebek LRT in the morning which is very crowded, KAI adjusts the schedule of the Jabodebek LRT journey by increasing the frequency of travel in the morning," he said.
