Acha Septriasa Difficult To Play Qodrat's Wife: Gets Central Wahyu Filming

JAKARTA - Acha Septriasa joined the sequel to Qodrat. He plays Azizah, the wife of Ustaz Qodrat, played by Vino G. Bastian.

This project is a blessing as well as a challenge for Acha. He received this role offer while settling in Sydney, Australia where he is far from Indonesia. When acting as Azizah, he felt a lot of struggle to play the character.

"In my opinion, all the scenes have challenges and the process of how to deliver but of course for discussion with the director is continuous because to find the Azizah process, I am overwhelmed," said Acha Septriasa at a press conference in South Jakarta on Friday, March 21.

As Qodrat's wife, Azizah also has difficulty accompanying the worship she believes in. He just found a 'gong' from his character in the middle of filming.

"It turns out that being the person who accompanies also stands out not too much, the character must feel guilty and pray for prayer," explained Acha about his character.

"I just got revelations in the shooting process, maybe in 15 days the scene like the taub prayer and meeting the Assuala was fortunately taken in the back scenes," he explained.

Acha's co-star, Hana Saraswati, who plays the workmate of Azizah's factory named Sri. He also experienced challenges when playing the character.

"In playing Sri, the portion is not big, so I know I have to play a role so I don't sink. I have to always feel in the qodrat world but I separate from the real world. Scene I'm very tired so if I have to tap out of the character so it doesn't drag on," said Hana Saraswati.

Qodrat 2 tells the story of Qodrat (Vino G. Bastian) who meets Azizah (Acha Septriasa), his wife who is now working in a textile factory. It turned out that his wife had a struggle for faith when she was disturbed by Zhadhug and Qodrat had to fight those who tried to disturb his wife.

Film Qodrat 2 akan tayang di bioskop Indonesia mulai 31 Maret.
