JAKARTA - The Indonesian production house Meaning Karya Pictures (IM Pictures) released a teaser trailer and poster for their horror film titled Muslihat.

Set in an old orphanage in a village in the middle of the forest, Muslihat is a horror film that is thick with mystical, religious, and Sundanese nuances.

Muslihat film tells the story of Jihan (Asmara Abigail) and his younger brother, Syafa (Ajeng Giona) who has just moved to an old orphanage.

They hope to start a new, better life. But one by one the strangeness and terror began to arrive.

Starting from the emergence of Shinta (Tata Janeeta), a mysterious woman who often plays strange children in Sundanese language, introductions to Juna (Fatih Unru), a young man in the night market, to a series of terror attacks on Rahma (Jacqueline Immanuela), one of the residents of the orphanage and makes her possessed to death.

Gustaf (Edward Akbar), the head of the orphanage tried to expel the evil force with ruqyah. However, Jihan was worried that the method would actually endanger Syafa.

Because the more they try to get rid of that evil force, the more they ask ' HAVE they really fought back, or have they been trapped by the devil?

Director Chairun Nissa expressed her enthusiasm for this horror project. "The Muslihat film is an extraordinary and dedicated collaboration from the whole team. I hope this film can provide an in-depth and inspiring experience for every audience," he said as quoted by VOI from a media broadcast, Friday, March 7.

Meanwhile, this film is a special project for the producer, Bugie, who for the first time collaborated with his wife, Tata Janeeta, who also acts as a soundtrack filler and one of the actors in this film.

I feel very enthusiastic and proud to introduce my debut as a film producer through this very special project. Muslihat is not just an ordinary horror film, this is a manifestation of the dedication, creativity, and hard work of the whole team," said Bugi.
