The First Frost tells the story of Wen Yi Fan (Zhang Ruo Nan), a reporter who lives alone and Sang Yan (Bai Jing Ting), a bar owner.

One day, Wen Yi Fan had an appointment to meet Zhong Si Qiao (Zhang Miao Yi) at a bar called Overtime. What a surprise Yi Fan was when he saw the figure of Sang Yan, his high school partner who turned out to be the manager at the bar.

Wen Yi Fan once had feelings for Sang Yan, but their relationship was only a friend until they were met in a condition. Yi Fan pretended not to know Sang Yan, neither did Sang Yan.
