Once A Flood Victim, Sinyorita Makes Sure Her House Is Now Safe

JAKARTA - Floods are currently hitting the Jabodetabek area after being hit by heavy rain overnight. Sinyorita radio broadcaster was once one of the victims of the flood a few years ago while still living in the Gandaria area, South Jakarta.

Fortunately, Sinyorita, who has now moved to the Sawangan area, is no longer affected by flooding in her house.

"Alhamdulillah, it's not (flooded). I've moved to Sawangan, right. It's a long house but it's not flooded either," Sinyorita told VOI via text message, Tuesday, March 4.

Sinyorita also said that none of his old neighbors were affected by the flood.

"There is no (neighbors affected by the flood)," he said.

Previously, in early 2020 he had become a victim of flooding and had to flee to his sister's house in the Bojongsari area, Sawangan.

Unfortunately, because there were too many people at his sister's house, Sinyorita and her family decided to flee to the hotel.

At that time, it was not the first time Sinyorita had become a victim of flooding. In 2020, after experiencing floods many times, he admitted that he was traumatized by hearing the sound of rain.

"Parno, stressed, every time he hears heavy rain, he is afraid of flooding again and is still traumatized. The mattress that was soaked yesterday was still damp, the laundry was also partially back, eh, the water had already entered the house again," wrote Sinyorita, quoted by VOI from Instagram @sinyoritaesperanza, Tuesday, March 4.
