Accused Of Slow Reporting LHKPN, Raffi Ahmad: We Follow The Procedures

Raffi Ahmad is often charged regarding the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN) after being inaugurated as the Presidential Special Envoy for the Development of the Young Generation and Art Workers.

Raffi admitted that there was no problem when asked to report the amount of his assets which turned out to touch Rp1.033 trillion. For him, it has become an obligation from his position as a public official.

"Actually, it's not, yes, this has become a regulation because we have become state officials, so we report, we just follow the procedure," said Raffi Ahmad, quoted by VOI from YouTube Trans7 Official, Tuesday, February 4.

After being released by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Raffi tried to explain the reason why his assets were announced for a long time.

"At that time it was said, 'Raffi Ahmad did not report LHKPN', no, there was all the process," explained Raffi Ahmad.

"So if a new official has to register first, the registration has been waiting again for the number from there," he continued.

The father of two children used this wealth report as a form of proof related to allegations of money laundering that had been accused.

"His name is also politics, right, think about it, 'the Raffi money laundering', yes go ahead, go ahead, just describe it," he asked.

Most importantly for Raffi, the wealth he has now is the result of his more than 20 years of work in the entertainment world.

"So this is an asset that can be checked, everything is the result of hard work from the past, from 2000 to 2025," he said.
