JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo ordered the Water Resources Service (SDA) and the Road Construction Service to immediately handle the road collapse in the Pulogadung area, East Jakarta, so that the damage would not worsen and not endanger the community.

"In Pulogadung I have ordered. It was the Water Resources that worked. Then, it did collapse and we asked for the bridge to be done immediately," said Pramono as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 7.

Pramono asked the Land and Spatial Planning Office to coordinate with the Road Construction Office to accelerate the handling of the road collapse.

Previously, the East Jakarta City Government (Pemkot) said that it had temporarily handled the slippery road on the banks of Kali Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, to prevent casualties.

"We have made temporary efforts, the Water Resources Sub-Office (Sudin SDA) has temporarily handled it by installing dolken-dolken," said the Mayor of East Jakarta Munjirin.

The installation of dolken in the area that experienced cracks is an effort to secure while waiting for permanent construction.

In addition, Munjirin together with related parties has also discussed the improvement of this dilapidated road in a coordination meeting at the city government level. After that, the East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-Department immediately carried out temporary handling at the location.

"We have anticipated. It has been a long time since it has been tightened by the Mayor, then it has been given preventive measures," said Munjirin.

Meanwhile, the repair of the dilapidated road on the banks of Kali Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta is the responsibility of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Water Resources Agency (SDA).
