JAKARTA - Lee Min Ho became a different character through his latest drama, When the Stars Gossip. He plays Gong Ryong, an obgyn doctor who is cheerful, funny, and full of intrigue.

Lee Min Ho, who is known for his rich character, now takes a different character from the characters he usually plays.

I was attracted to the story of outer space and saw the story being brought into space into a foreign place. We live in a diverse environment and this drama about the characters you see is not a mainstream group but a unique character," Lee Min Ho said in a virtual press conference some time ago.

He described Gong Ryong's character as someone who was marginalized and not the main focus. Gong Ryong is someone who has an ordinary routine.

He is obgyn and loves life very much. He becomes a tourist and pays for being the reason he wants to come. He finds life. The story is like a coming of age for Gong Ryong," said Lee Min Ho.

The story is something you have never seen and there is a twist turn so please look forward to it. My biggest area is that there are marginalized people, not mainstream. I live in the mainstream ranks so there may be difficulties but through Gong Ryong hopefully they can see marginalized people," he said.

The first 2 episodes have aired and Lee Min Ho revealed that many are still being revealed in his story.

When the Stars Gossip tells the story of Eve's (Gong Hyo Jin) relationship, a space commander and obgyn doctor Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho) who meets and falls in love. The first 2 episodes have been airing since last week and the drama will air every Saturday and Sunday on Netflix.
