The 'House Of Gucci' Film Is Being Produced, The Family Is Worried About The Sphere Of Privacy

JAKARTA - Ridley Scott's House of Gucci is entering the production process. In the midst of this enthusiasm, it turned out that the Gucci family was not happy with the film.

To the Associated Press, Patrizia Gucci, the great-grandson of Guccio Gucci, was worried that later this film would focus more on criminal stories and emphasize the personal life of Guccio Gucci's heirs.

“I speak for my family. They steal family identities to make a profit, to increase the income of the Hollywood industry… My family has an identity, a privacy. We can talk about everything. But there are limits that must not be crossed”, said Patrizia Gucci.

They are also worried that this film will present an inaccurate story that they take from the book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamor, and Greed. The selection of Al Pacino and Jared Leto as part of the Gucci family was also considered unsatisfactory.

Patrizia admitted that she had contacted Ridley Scott's wife, Giannina Facio, to ask for clarification. But there has been no reply.

The House of Gucci tells the story of Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver), the former head of the Gucci company who dies after being shot in Milan in 1995. His ex-wife, Patrizia (Lady Gaga) becomes a suspect for plotting a murder in 1998 and has been in prison for 18 years.

The MGM production house has not responded to the Gucci family's concerns.
