Chef Culinary Class Wars Distributes Food For Families Of Victims Of Air Jeju Air Air Air Plane Accidents

JAKARTA - Chef Ahn Yoo Sung, who is popular through the Culinary Class Wars competition, stole the attention of his action of distributing food to families of victims of the Jeju Air plane crash.

He distributed his food directly by visiting Muan International Airport starting Monday, December 30, 2024.

Launching from Koreaboo, on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Chef Ahn Yoo Sung prepared 200 servings of kimbab with his team for breakfast for the families of the victims that day.

He also teamed up with Yoon Yong Moon, local restaurant owner Muan Myunga, who donated 500 servings of extra food.

Chef Ahn Yoo Sung also bought 500 snacks from minimarkets at Muan International Airport. The food purchased included Tamago Sandwich and Tamago Kimbab.

The 52-year-old Chef said he was sorry for the tragic incident and wanted to make sure the victim's family received warm and filling food. He also admitted that he would continue to provide food for the victim's family until the situation improved.

"I plan to share it every day until the situation improves," said Chef Ahn Yoo Sung.

Then Chef Ahn Yoo Sung also shared that he heard the news of the plane crash while in the kitchen. After hearing the news, he immediately prepared food with his team to share.

I heard about the incident while in the kitchen. I have a filming schedule, but I went out with my team to pack a kimbab," he said.

Chef Ahn Yoo Sung said that he knew one of the victims who died in the Jeju Air plane crash. The victim is a producer who has worked with him for an event.

Therefore, Ahn Yoo Sung felt very sad and tried to help. He felt that his ability to make food could be a form of support for the victim's family.

A producer who worked with me at an event has passed away. My heart is very sad. I only have a talent for making food, so I think it's a good idea to show support through food," he concluded.
