JAKARTA The Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) will begin to be implemented in 2025. This program is one of the Government's initiatives to improve the quality of life of the community through improving nutritional intake, especially in the health aspect.
The MBG program aims to ensure that each individual gets a balanced nutrition that includes carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals according to the needs of the child's body. With this approach, it is hoped that public health can increase significantly.
As part of this program, the Indonesia Gastronomy Community (IGC) introduced a Character Education Education Education Program that focuses on Indonesian Gastronomi. This program prioritizes the importance of a healthy and characteristic lunch experience in the school environment.
"We at the IGC want to support the success of the nutritious food program in Indonesia," said IGC General Chair Ria Mutiawan, when met at the Ambhara Hotel, Jakarta, recently.
Ria explained that the main goal of this education is to create a meaningful eating experience as well as to shape the character of the younger generation.
"This program is expected to optimize child nutrition interventions while improving the quality of human resources with behaviors that care about health, environment, and local wisdom," he added.
IGC views the Nutritious Lunch program at School as an extraordinary step from the government. This program not only provides nutritious food but is also an important moment to instill positive values in the next generation of the nation.
In the perspective of gastronomi, food is not just a biological necessity. Food also has an important role in shaping characters, such as togetherness, gratitude, and appreciation for cultural diversity," explained Ria.

"Human quality is not only determined by physical health, but also strong character, emotional intelligence, and global competitiveness that must be built from an early age," said Prof. Nila.
Through this joint eating program, children not only get the nutrition they need, but also learn the character values that will be their provision in facing the future.
The children that we formed today are the foundation of a strong nation in the future. Through eating activities at school, they learn discipline, respect, and cooperation that builds solidarity, "concluded Prof. Nila.
