JAKARTA - After exercising the right to vote in the implementation of simultaneous regional head elections in 2024 on Wednesday, artist Ayu Ting Ting hopes that the area where he lives, Depok City in West Java Province, will then no longer be jammed.

"Depok is already much more advanced, actually, now everything is there, whatever it is, so hopefully Depok will not get stuck," said the singer, actress, and host after using their voting rights at the polling station in the Sukmajaya area, Depok.

"Even though the road has been widened. I am also confused where else to widen it," said the woman who was born on June 20, 1992.

The artist, who has lived in Depok since birth, said that he had to leave 1.5 hours early for the shooting location in Jakarta because the roads often jammed.

"I usually leave 1.5 hours earlier, because sometimes the streets in Jakarta don't get jammed in Depok," said the singer of the song "Sambalado".

The mother of one child can also spend up to three hours on the way to return from Jakarta to her home.

"Because I go home from work on average, like normal working hours, it feels like I live in Bandung, it can take 2.5 to three hours (travel)," said Ayu, quoted from ANTARA.
