Atiqah Hasiholan Competes With Malaysian Actor Amir Ahnaf In The Film

JAKARTA - Atiqah Hasiholan returns to play in a horror film after 15 years. Atiqah is trusted to play the main character in the film produced by 4ward Entertainment entitled Amaz.

Atiqah, who plays Radha, must play a character who has a mental disorder. This is the main challenge for him in this film.

"The biggest challenge is actually his role. Because Rada has a mental disorder and that's where the challenge is to understand the mental illness itself and bring it up," said Atiqah Hasiholan in the Thamrin area, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 20.

Uniquely in this film, Atiqah competed acting with Malaysian actor Amir Ahnaf who became Joko as a high-class man.

"Peran sebagai Joko. Perannya seperti orangnya ceplas-ceplos, cuma ikut apak saja, tidak ada kerja,"

First time playing in a horror Indonesian film, Amir admitted that he felt burdened with his character, especially in language.

"It's really a burden. Because of one language, two like I brought the name Malaysia so it must be good," he said.

"The difficulty is, so I only have a little time to master the language. A little time. To master the language, so in about 2 weeks only for a language master," said Amir Ahnaf.

Director Andi Bachtiar Yusuf explained that he was originally entitled The Parcel, but the title was changed to fire.

"I'm afraid that the film about Eid will be changed, that's why it's more suitable. Because this story is about a place that is condemned," explained Andi Bachtiar Yusuf.

Apart from Indonesia, the film dikemuanya is also planned to be broadcast in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.

This film will be starred by a row of artists including Putri Ayudya, Baim Wong, Whani Dharmawan, Aditya Lakon, Achi Breyvi, Reza Maulana, and two players from Malaysia, Amir Ahnaf and Nora Danish.

Later the film will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting December 5, 2024.
