Baim Wong Promises To Free Paula Verhoeven From Meeting Children After Divorce

JAKARTA - The divorce of Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven is still rolling at the South Jakarta Religious Court. But for the next time, the trial will be conducted online.

This was conveyed by Baim Wong's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, who said that his client wanted this problem to be resolved quickly.

"So, Baim asked for it quickly. If it's fast, we had an offline and e-court understanding. Finally, it was agreed that it would be fast, we agreed we had to go through e-court," said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, October 30.

"Because ecourt doesn't refer to the day. Every Wednesday, it means we have a hearing every week. It's a bit of a hassle," he added.

Even so, Baim has conveyed his promise to Paula Verhoeven about their child. He promised not to limit Paula to seeing children.

"So they are free whenever the child is brought by their mother, they want to play freely at any time. Everything is fine," said Baim Wong.

On the other hand, Paula Verhoeven through her attorney, Alvon Kurnia Palma asked Baim to have a clear time distribution to meet children.

"Yes, just share time. When for Paula, when for Baim. This is actually for the benefit of the child," said Alvon Kurnia Palma at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, October 30.

Alvon believes that this is done so that Baim and Paula's divorce does not affect their two children.

"If we want to be honest and straight for the sake of the child, how will the child feel that nothing has happened to his parents," said Alvon Kurnia Palma.

"That's what I really want to say over and over again because one there is a woman's right, there is a child," he added.
