Declare War On Stunting, Wihaji's Steps At The Ministry Of Population And Family Development

JAKARTA - Minister of Population and Family Development/Head of BKKBN, Wihaji, who was just appointed by President Prabowo Subianto as a member of the Red and White Cabinet, immediately moved to develop strategic concepts and steps.

Even before being inaugurated, Wihaji has taken steps to step on the gas to carry out his new duties as Minister of Population and Development of Families/Head of BKKBN. This ministry is the transformation (up grade) of the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) in the previous cabinet.

Wihaji even had stated that efforts to accelerate stunting reduction needed to be encouraged, which he termed "War on Stunting."

For Wihaji, the issue of population and family development is not a foreign item for him because he had served as regent, one of whose services handled this. Wihaji explained that he and his staff would fight stunting like a general in regulating a war strategy.
