Decide To Stop Being A YouTuber, Ria Ricis Focuses On Becoming A Producer At RH Entertainment

JAKARTA - Content creator Ria Ricis admits that she has stopped creating content on her YouTube account, which is one of the reasons her name is now known.

Ria Ricis revealed that she deliberately rarely uploads content on her YouTube slowly.

"YouTube, I have stopped vloging from a few months ago, at least if there was only vlog every day," said Ria Ricis in the Kembangan area, West Jakarta, Wednesday, October 16.

"Now friends can see it at least once a week, once every ten days or twice a week, the daily vlog has really stopped," he continued.

Not without reason, Ria Ricis admitted that now she wants to try something new, namely being a producer at one of the production houses. He is even willing to reduce his activities in front of the screen in order to fulfill his long dream by being more active behind the scenes.

"Certainly (in front of the screen is reduced). Because the goal has always been to be behind the scenes, actually just because there is no chance to postpone it, it turns out that the opportunity has just arrived now, so we've just run it now," he explained.

Ricis joins Right Hand Entertainment or better known as RH Entertainment. Production House, which has produced several films and series for Indonesian OTT such as Bisik Hati Lara and Love in Game.

The joining of Ria Ricis as one of the Producers in RH Entertainment led by Rendy Herpy as Founder, Director, and Director is expected to enliven the Indonesian entertainment world with several other cinema movie lines that will be produced throughout 2024 to 2026.

"With the growing audience of local production films, in our opinion this is the right momentum to enliven the Indonesian film market," added Rendy.

Ria Ricis was excited because she could work from behind the scenes. "I have actually known RH friends for a long time, so I really understand our track records and goals in the future. I hope that by joining me here, I will bring wider opportunities and can channel my passion who wants to work from behind the scenes," added Ricis.

Executive Producer at RH Entertainment, Anton Permana said that the enthusiasm of investors in the entertainment world, especially cinema films, rose sharply. The latest report is that watching local films has reached 60 million viewers, compared to the audience of imported films, which only amounted to 35 million viewers, this is what makes investors' enthusiasm rise to invest in Indonesian film production, said Anton.

In addition to films and series, RH Entertainment has begun to explore the world of music and events. "In addition to working in the world of films and series, we are now starting to get serious in the world of singing, in this case as a record label. Our team and teams are starting to aggressively collect music talents from various genres. Because in the end music and film are in line with entertainment packages. We also work on the event business as well, which has always been related to the two worlds," added Kevin Zufri, Producer of RH Entertainment.

Most recently, RH Entertainment will soon show two new films entitled Urang Bunian and 7ujuh Senja in Indonesian cinemas.

Realizing that her big name was from YouTube, Ria Ricis admitted that she did not regret her decision to quit because it had been a wish for a long time to quit.

"No, because actually YouTube has wanted to be stopped for a long time, so because there is no other container, so when there is an opportunity, we move here," he said.
