18 Months Duties, Ong Seong Wu Officially Completed Military Mandatory

JAKARTA - Actor Ong Seong Wu completed his military service on Wednesday, October 16. Through his agency, the former Wanna One member thanked the soldiers as his co-workers.

Ong Seong Wu served for 18 months in the military band and officially finished. Fantagio as the agency uploaded a photo of Ong Seong Wu receiving a bouquet of flowers as a sign of celebration.

"I have respect for the officers and soldiers who dedicate themselves to the country such as senior members who fulfill their duties," said Ong Seong Wu.

A time filled with experiences and emotions that I cannot find on the other hand of my life. I have strength because of the support of my fans, WELO (Ong Seong Wu fans), my family, and friends who are waiting for me," he said.

The actor continued he will start his 30s with a new experience that will be useful for him as an actor.

"As I ended my 20s on military duty, I will start my 30s with the experience I receive. I ask for your support in the future," said Ong Seong Wu.

Ong Seong Wu debuted as a singer after competing in Produce 101 Season 2. After completing his contract with Wanna One, he continued his career as an actor.

He starred in dramas and films including Moment of 18 and Life is Beautiful. Ong Seong Wu last acted through the drama Strong Girl Namsoon which became the last drama before he left for military service.
