Can I Just Once Be The Latest Effort To Present Mental Health Issues On The Big Screen

JAKARTA - Sinemaku Pictures presents their latest film, Can I Give You Just Once In the last half of 2024. Directed by Reka Wijaya, this film tells the story of a mental health issue starring Prilly Latuconsina and Pradikta Wicaksono.

This is the third time Sinemaku has presented mental health issues in a big screen story. According to Prilly, they are trying to make this issue an issue that is being discussed by the public.

"The main goal is that I myself want to make a film that raises issues that are considered taboo. Even if we dare to discuss we are holding campaigns or seminars that are not necessarily up to all people," said Prilly Latuconsina.

"We discuss parents, the environment, we discuss the parenting pattern of parents impacting children in the future when they grow up," he said.

In addition to the two, this film stars Surya Saputra, Dominique Sanda, Widi Mulia, Gracia JKT48, Antonio Blanco Jr, Kristo Immanuel, Ummi Quary, and so on.

"A lot to learn from this film and awareness of mental health," said Antonio Blanco Jr.

This is a long film but a first drama film. When asked about a character like comedy is not much different but besides being funny, I have a mental health that hurts. It's not much different from Ummi as Icha. If Ummi was actually forgetful, I couldn't be honest with myself until my sister was angry because I wasn't honest with myself, "said Ummi Quary.

"When I read first, I felt it was really hard and I couldn't just meet Reka Mas Rosa. I had to be their representative so that they knew there was a way out, I managed to get Devi's character," said Dominique Sanda.
