Emmy Wins, Richard Gadd Prepares New Project With Netflix

Comedian and actor Richard Gadd signed a new contract with Netflix for the latest project. This was announced after he won 3 Emmy awards thanks to Baby Reindeer's limited series.

Quoting Deadline, Gadd has a contract for a series with Netflix. This series will be different from the Baby Reindeer series which became a global hit.

Reportedly, the contract has been carried out since Baby Reindeer received a nomination of 11 Emmys, but their victory has also marked the contract.

Baby Reindeer won three awards, namely Best Actor, Supporting Actress, and Best Limited Series. Baby Reindeer hit globally by occupying Netflix Top 10 for two months.

Richard Gadd is a creator, writer, executive producer, as well as the main character in the Baby Reindeer series. This series tells the story of comedian Donny Gunn who is stalked by a mysterious woman.

"I'm excited to continue my creative adventure with Netflix. They gave me a chance when I wasn't trusted on television, which makes me always grateful," said Richard Gadd.

This news comes amid the controversy over the Baby Reindeer series which was sued for defamation fromwa Harvey who is said to be a stalking Richard Gadd in the real world.

Harvey reported Netflix on June 6 for defamation of his character even though the series did not use its real name.

Gadd also said that they were dramatic about the series so that the public would not find out who the real figure was from Gadd's story.
