The Sexual Harassment Case, Armie Hammer Was Kicked Out Of The Billion Dollar Spy Film

JAKARTA - Actor Armie Hammer was kicked out of the thriller film Billion Dollar Spy on Monday United States time.

Launching Variety today, Tuesday, March 30, Hammer's name was removed from the list of players related to the sexual harassment case that had been rolling since the beginning of this year. Starting from social media, one of Hammer's former partners reported allegations of rape in 2017 to the Los Angeles Police.

Through his lawyer, Hammer dismissed all these allegations while insisting that his relationship with his former partner was always consensual.

Previously, Hammer was fired from Paramount's Shotgun Wedding and The Offer series. Armie Hammer's contract with the WME agency also ended.

Hammer was first announced to be part of the 2020 film Billion Dollar Spy alongside Mads Mikkelsen. This film tells the story of a person who just arrives in Moscow and meets a Soviet engineer.

Production of the film Billion Dollar Spy has yet to start due to the pandemic which is still ongoing. Walden Media's production house does not reveal who will replace Hammer's role.

Meanwhile, the investigation process regarding sexual harassment by the actors is ongoing.
