Not Paying Children's Allowances Of IDR 165 Million Per Month, Tyrese Gibson Questions Judge's Decision

JAKARTA - Tyrese Gibson was arrested after being found guilty of not paying child support according to the agreement. He was asked to pay 73 thousand US dollars to avoid a prison sentence.

When he heard the verdict, the actor and singer were surprised. He even suspected that the judge had a grudge against him.

"He (the judge) hated my guts. He wanted to use his power and he didn't care who saw it," Tyrese Gibson quoted People as saying.

"It can't stand the trial when dealing with him," he continued.

The actor's arrest followed that he be detained for insulting the court after he allegedly did not pay child support. The judge ruled that Gibson could be released from prison after he "cleared himself from humiliation" by paying about 73 thousand US dollars to Fulton County officials.

Gibson plans to appeal the decision. After the news circulated, he had time to make an Instagram Story.

"Arrested is not an easy thing... it's even very traumatic... someone is asking why this judge and my ex Samantha... IS VERY DISGRACEFUL OF ME?" asked Tyrese Gibson.

'I am a father? Why? It's not because I bought them, because the clothes, not because of the area of the house, not because of the vehicle and of course not because of the fake jewelry I wear. I am a father because the exchange between boys and girls is not something that can be bought," he said.

A few hours later, he uploaded a photo with his son and wrote a father's love message to his son.

The Fast and Furious star has one child from her marriage to Lee who is named Soraya. Gibson is asked to pay $10,690 or equivalent to Rp165 million every month in April 2023.
