Creators Involved In Sexual Violence, Good Omens 4 Series Cancels Production

JAKARTA - Prime Video canceled production last season or fourth season of the Good Omens series. This decision relates to the case of sexual violence involving the serial creator, Neil Gaiman.

Good Omens is a series that tells the story of two characters, an angel and demon who are good friends. The series is adapted from a 1990 novel written by Gaiman with Terry Pr Badminton.

Initially, Good Omens was projected to be a limited series, but due to its popularity in 2019, Prime Video continued production until the second season.

Neil Gaiman is reported to have sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman with the initials K in 2003 and a 23-year-old woman named Scarlett in 2022. Scarlett accused Gaiman of harassing her in the bathroom at her home when Scarlett worked as her household assistant.

Gaiman denied all claims by K. Scarlett reported to the authorities and the investigation process is underway.

Apart from Good Omens, the production of The Graveyard Book film adapted from Gaiman's novel with director Marc Forsters was stopped by Disney because of this case.
