JAKARTA - Rachel Vennya admitted that she was trying to change people's views on widow status. She felt that the widow figure was considered negative.

"I'm really trying to change the stigma of the widow. I think people when they see a widow, the impression is like itching, teasing a man, like a widow who has a guy like that," said Rachel Vennya, quoted by VOI from Instagram @rumpi_gosip, Sunday, September 1.

In fact, according to Rachel Vennya, many things had to be passed until finally a woman chose to become a widow. Including himself who is now a widow.

"Zaman used to be a widow like her is a widow but the more I hear the story of people who are widows, do you know what she has gone through until she has this status? It's really hard, you know," Rachel continued.

He is of the opinion that women should abandon many things as they hoped when they decided to get married and release a figure who was considered to have missed him.

"It is true to maintain a difficult marriage, it is true, I mean I know it is difficult. But do we know that we want to leave the hope that from the start we had, right when we got married we had hope, then we seemed to decide that hope?," said Rachel Vennya.

"And being a new person again. Because when a widow feels like it's really like a new person, right because it's like yesterday we felt safe, felt protected, then like all my burdens, both of me," he added.

In fact, according to Rachel, widows are great women because they can stand on their own feet without needing anyone else.

"Then suddenly I'm all alone and I'm already bringing my kids again, do you understand? So I think I'm like a widow, you know, it's really strong to miss all of this. The average widow, what I see, the average widow, maybe not all, but almost all of them can work. Like my mother, like sister, like everything else," he added.

"Surely I see that the widow is always really independent woman. Like that, it's not that maybe it's not like she doesn't need a man, but because the widow knows she can stand alone when she is disappointed many times, so how come I can stand alone, the widow is great and really cool," he said.
