Son Ye Jin And Lee Byung Hun Become Husband And Wife In Park Chan Wook's New Film

JAKARTA - Director Park Chan Wook in collaboration with CJ ENM made a new film entitled Can't Help It. The production house announced a line-up of film players filled by South Korea's top-class talents.

Can't Help It will star Lee Byung Hun, Son Ye Jin, Park Hee Soon, Lee Sung Min, Yeom Hye Ran, Cha Seung Won, and Yoo Yeon Seok. At the same time, Park Chan Wook took pictures with Son Ye Jin and Lee Byung Hun marking their latest project.

This film tells of an officer who is suddenly fired. In order to protect his wife and child, he traveled to find a new job.

Lee Byung Hun plays Man Soo, a person who has been laid off from his company despite having worked for 25 years. He had an emotional moment of struggling to defend his home and family.

Son Ye Jin plays Man Soo's wife named Mi Ri. He is a person who always tries to be cheerful even in the midst of his husband's condition who becomes unemployed.

Then there is Park Hee Soon who plays Choi Seon Chul, a foreman at a paper company. Lee Sung Min becomes Koo Beom Mo, a senior employee who is looking for work. Yeom Hye Ran will be Beom Mo's wife.

Cha Seung Won playing Go Si Jo and Yoo Yeon Seok will play Oh Jin Ho, a dentist at the clinic where Mi Ri works.

Can't Help It is Park Chan Wook's latest film after Decision to Leave in 2022. This film received nominations ranging from Baeksang, Blue Dragon, to the Golden Globe.

Production of the film Can't Help It will begin on August 17.
