Yusuf Mahardika Panjangkan Jenggot Untuk Film Mist Berduri

JAKARTA - Yusuf Mahardika plays one of the characters in Edwin's latest film, Mist Berduri. He became Silas, a youth rebel and fought for the peace of his environment.

Although he has played a similar character, he explained that there are new challenges that he meets in this film. He also feels grateful that the film Mist Beduri is his new exploration.

"Actually, there are quite different new challenges for me because after reading the script, I left it because of new things that can be explored," said Yusuf Mahardika in the private screening session of the Berduri Fog some time ago.

"When the preparation was with Mas Edwin, Silas did this personally, when viewed by the audience as a symbol of struggle, many interpretations were unique," he said.

"I'm looking from wide to cone like ngulang from scratch. Looking for fun because of the different things I play," said Yusuf Mahardika.

One of the challenges he faces is that he has to lengthen his beard and mustache to add a firm impression in his character. He also had the opportunity to fly to Kalimantan first and stay a few days before production.

"I find it difficult to ride beards and mustaches but have a long time of luxury. I got the opportunity to fly with a talent coordinator," he said.

"Initially, he was blind about Kalimantan from its shape, the texture of the soil so he had to feel it was an luxury. The people are peaceful and kind," said Yusuf Mahardika.

"We have dialect training so that the words are correct and when we play there it helps them listen to them talking power," he said.

Mist Berduri tells of a detective police officer named Sanja (Putri Marino) who is transferred from Jakarta to Kalimantan. He is tasked with solving a number of consecutive deaths. Apart from Putri and Lukman, this film is also played by Yoga Pratama, Siti Fauziah, Mahardika Yusuf, and Kiki Narendra.

The film Mist Berduri will be released on Netflix on August 1.
