V BTS Protested Fans After Photos Of Boycotted Brand Fries

JAKARTA - V BTS became the center of controversy thanks to its latest upload on Instagram. Despite undergoing military service, he still took the time to share photos several times for fans.

However, his latest upload actually made fans react because in one of the photos he shared, he uploaded a photo of French fries from a brand that was included in the list of boycotts or the BDS Movement (Boycott, Divestasi, and Sanctions).

The photo, which was uploaded on Sunday, July 21, caused a negative response from fans. Even so, fans cannot write the comments because V has closed his comments column since opening his social media account.

This is considered a contradiction with BTS fans, ARMY, who made donations to Palestinians who were victims of Israeli attacks.

Now BTS fans are enlivening social media X with the hashtag #KimTaehyung and making a tweet to BTS's official account so that the man whose real name is Kim Taehyung knows the brand and meaning of the BDS Movement.

This is not the first time fans have asked one of BTS members regarding the Israeli and Palestinian conflicts. Previously, they flocked to declare a boycott of HYBE after HYBE America appointed Scooter Braun as HYBE America's senior CEO.

Scooter Braun, who is Pro-Palestinian, received strong rejection from fans from the group under the HYBE company. However, it seems that his boycott did not sound echoing considering fans continue to enliven the release from the agency.

Kim Taehyung is now a public conversation because his latest upload is considered not empathizing with the actions taken by fans.

On the other hand, HYBE and V have not yet spoken out about fan protests.
