Meanwhile, continued Guswanto, on a regional scale, there are several atmospheric wave phenomena that actively increase convective activity and make rain clouds, namely; MJO (Madden Jullian Oscillation), Kelvin waves, and Rossby waves that took place in the same period.

"The presence of wind bend patterns as well as meeting areas and deceleration of wind speed (convergence) around southern Sumatra and in western Java is also able to increase the potential for rain cloud formation in the area, supported by a positive sea level temperature anomaly that can increase water vapor capability in the atmosphere," he explained.

For Guswanto, although currently most parts of Indonesia have penetrated the dry season, the reason for the occurrence of atmospheric phenomena has triggered the formation of weather dynamics which has an impact on the rain in most parts of Indonesia.
