JAKARTA - The Pandji Pragiwakono celebrity spoke up regarding the news that comic Marshel Widianto was proposed to be a candidate for deputy in the South Tangerang region. According to Pandji, the party's decision to carry Marshel Widianto, in this case Gerindra, made a strange decision for him.

"The parties and their party leaders should be the decision makers," said Pandji Pragiwaksono, quoted by VOI from YouTube Deddy Corbuzier, Wednesday, July 3.

"For example, Gerindra has the opportunity to move forward who they want, but that's how they choose their deputy mayor of South Tangerang is Marshel Widianto. Is it weird?," said Pandji.

Then Pandji likened himself to the party's closest person, so he questioned Marshel's support by looking at his bad background.

"If I were someone close to Gerindra, for example, I would be the buzzer, I would say, 'Why do you choose someone who used to pick up L***e to be the deputy mayor of South Tangerang?'" said Pandji.

Pandji openly said that Marshel's figure was inappropriate to run as a representative of the people. However, this phenomenon is not the fault of fellow comics.

"It's not appropriate. But, it's not Marshel's fault in my opinion. The Standup Indo kid contains difficult people, we have a mentality there is a job, go to my brother. Whatever it is," said Pandji Pragiwaksono.
