The Plot Movie Review: Kang Dong Won's Action Becomes A Plot Maker

JAKARTA - Actor Kang Dong Won acted in the film The Plot after attending the cinema with the film Dr. Cheon and The Lost Talisman last year. This film made director Lee Yo Sup's directorial directorial debut on a big screen after becoming an assistant director,

The Plot also stars a number of actors who are familiar to drama audiences, ranging from Lee Mi Sook, Lee Hyun Wook, Tang Jung Sang, Jung Eun Chae, Lee Dong Hwi, Lee Moo Saeng, Kim Hong Pa, and others.

The Plot film tells of Young Il (Kang Dong Won), a assassination designer who works to design a murder to look like an accident. Young Il works in a group with Jackie (Lee Mi Sook), Wol Cheon (Lee Hyun Wook), and Jum Man (Tang Jung Sang).

They always succeed in creating the 'accident', because the police have never carried out further examinations of the victims who had an accident. Young Il and his friends worked according to their client's orders.

One day, Young Il gets an order to kill Joo Seong Jik (Kim Hong Pa), a Prime Minister who is suspected of being involved in embezzlement of money. The order was made by his own son, Joo Yeong Seon (Jung Eun Chae).

Young Il took the risk considering the person he killed was a public figure. However, when they were about to carry out the action, they faced an unexpected thing.

The Plot film is a remake of a Hong Kong film entitled Accident which aired in 2009. Although remake, The Plot connected several technologies such as telephones or live broadcasts related to a series of cases.

The ensembles of these players performed brilliantly. Changes in expressions related to the plot make The Plot easy to enjoy. Lee Jong Suk as a cameo in this film turned out to play a key character who sewed the main plot of The Plot.

Likewise, the visuals are well worked on and have aesthetics so that some of the highlights of the scenes look stylish.

The Plot has a well-tuned back and forth flow. Its visual colors are used to mark scenes in the past and scenes in today's times.

Among these good elements, the film The Plot has shortcomings in the story section. The series of plot twists that rolled out turned out to make the ending not reach its climax.

Even so, this film is able to plant as fresh details as possible so that when the plot twist is displayed, the audience will be surprised and start connecting the previous scene.
