JAKARTA - The horror film Paku Tanah Jawa is here to bring urban legends from the Mount Tidar area. It feels special that this film has become a collaboration between actors between the two countries of Indonesia and Malaysia. It is planned that the film, directed by Armani Entertainment, will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting June 6, 2024.
Two Malaysian actors, namely Mk. K Clique and Hafis Upin also starred in the film. However, both of them had different fates, Mk had to play scenes with snakes, Hafis felt safe because he avoided similar scenes.
"I am afraid of snakes too, actually, but I am happy and just surrender. The experience of horror in Indonesia, hopefully it will sell very well in Malaysia, I am happy to be involved in Indonesian films," explained Mk K. Clique in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Monday, June 3.
"I'm proud of myself, for me this is an experience that will not be forgotten when I can compete acting with Indonesian artists. For me Masayu and everything is really great, it's like a dream in broad daylight, if the Constitutional Court is in the snake I'm grateful that there won't be any," continued Hasif Upin.
