JAKARTA - Singer Keisya Levronka is again trusted to star in one of the latest films by the Base Entertainment production house entitled Night of Death in which in this film Keisya competed acting with Devano Danendra to Ratu Felisha.

In an exclusive interview with VOI, Keisya tried to tell more about her experience during the shooting process to the characters she played in this film where Keisya plays a high school student named Wulan who has more ability in mystical things.

"Playing Wulan, what character am I, is it really far from me, from Keisya. He's a character, mysterious and he's also Indigo, he can't be a character, but that's one of the advantages he can see what ordinary people can't see later will help his friends to solve a problem," said Keisya Levronka at the VOI office, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, April 17.

The film Night Revocation of Life is the first horror film for the singer of the song Tak Want After this. No wonder when offered this film, Keisya admitted that she was very excited. Even before being appointed as the Wulan actor, Keisya had done her own research and recorded the needs of Wulan's character in a small book of hers.

"Then when I was offered very, very excited, I was really looking for it. I asked what should I prepare for? I was really looking for references to possession from the start," he said.

Keisya explored many things during research to shape the character she played.

"What film reference can I watch? I have thought of mapping like this character, where do I want to take it? In my opinion, Wulan, how about this? Until what I had told you earlier, I also had a small book, it's about Wulan's character, even though I'm still not sure I'm playing this Wulan, but I already have the notes," Keisya said.

"So when I wanted to cast, I just had to read a little and then I immediately practiced with Mama, I kept seeing YouTube like a mystical thing, I was curious about Sis Sara (Wijayanto) and I watched Rissa's (Jurnal)," he added.

Even so, this 21-year-old woman still has difficulty playing the Wulan character in this film. This was felt by Keisya because she felt that Wulan's character had a personality that was very different from her original personality. Where Wulan is a cold and quiet woman, while Keisya is a cheerful and easy person.

"It's very (difficult), because when I was shooting, to be honest, because I was really noisy, it was like Wulan, it was like being cold, cold, flat, then sometimes I feel like for example heavy scenes, I didn't want to get along so much, after taking, I finished taking it, I didn't want to (talk) afraid to let go again," said Keisya.

"Because finding Wulan's character is sometimes difficult, so it's like that at the location I'm silent, I don't communicate with anyone, I just keep quiet, like I can hold it for a while, as soon as I pass by, then haha hihi again, then take it straight away. So Wulan again," he added.

Uniquely after shooting for one month as Wulan's figure, Keisya said that Wulan's personality had been brought into real life. When he felt that Wulan's figure was out, he immediately tried to change his character again to Keisya's figure.

"I think it's brought a little bit, in my opinion, it's been a long time since I've been playing a role for a month, I've been someone else. So when I'm out, I'm still like it's still rich with rich people, oh my, this is Wulan, not Keisya, it's straight away," he added.

Keisya Levronka is now active in carrying out two professions at once, namely as a singer and film actor. This Malang-born woman admitted that it was a fun thing because she could run two professions at once even though she still felt the stress she felt.

Moreover, previously, Keisya said that she had had to carry out her first single concert which she had prepared for a long time in Malaysia as well as filming in the film This Life Revocation Night/

"It's fun, even though sometimes it's stressful, especially when we filmed this last October 2023, it means that when I held my first single concert and it was in Malaysia and it was really a conceptual concert that seemed to have a storyline, what all kinds of things were helped by Micah (Hernan) at that time. So hopefully the results will go smoothly and hopefully the results will be satisfying, "said Keisya Levronka.

Even so, Keisya could not cover up if she had experienced a shock culture when she entered the world of Indonesian acting and cinema. One of the things he felt the most was related to working hours which he thought were very different when he was doing work as a singer and as an actor.

"I had a shock (culture) actually, especially in terms of time. At that time I was shooting or not this title, but I shot when I called in the morning at 08.00 am, I was already at 07.00 am, standing by 07.00 I arrived. Then it turned out that I had been waiting for a long time, it turned out that I was just taking it at 08.00 pm and I was really on standby there because when I came home I was afraid to be called suddenly and it was a long location. So that's the location. So that's the shock culture,'memang must be like this when shooting? That's how it was originally still adapting, so I still don't understand that," said Keisya Levronka.

Not only did she feel shock culture, but this woman who graduated from singing talent search also felt insecure when she was invited to play movies for the first time. But fortunately this can be overcome by Keisya because she meets senior actors who want to help as well as the production house team who want to be patient in teaching in acting.

"Actually, it's very, very insecure because it's also not a world that I understand, I don't understand at all. So, my concept of life is always learning by doing, finally because I meet people who are more senior and want to teach me, not to mention the director who is patient for me who is new, so it's very helpful. There are a lot of good people around me who really help because I also ask if what is this role? What about this role?' But really need teamwork and thank God so much so far, "said Keisya.

Starting to feel comfortable with acting finally makes it difficult for Keisya to choose between singing or acting. When asked, Keisya admitted that she wanted to carry out these two promotions as long as they did not interfere or harm other parties.

"Like before, I couldn't answer because I like both of them, so if it doesn't bother and it doesn't harm other parties, I really want to do both like yesterday. So hopefully so far my manager will be the most dizzy because he manages the time, not to mention that there is a fitting, there is a make-up test, there are all kinds of singing that have to go back and forth so hopefully it can go both of them, amen," said Keisya Levronka closing the interview with VOI.
