JAKARTA - The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is back with a second season this year. Prime Video as the party that released the first trailer that continued the conflict from the first part.

Set in a second era from the story of J.R.R. Tolkien, this trailer features the character OfCEs (Charliemen) who will carry out their mission to get full power. Equipped with cinematic visuals, The Rings of Power 2 also features Galadriel, Elrond, Prince Durin IV, Arondir, and Celebrimbor and others.

After being expelled by Galadriel, Sauran used his reason to oversee the creation of the Rings of Power which would bind everyone on Central Earth.

The latest season of the series will plunge the most loved and most vulnerable characters into darkness, challenging each character to find their place in a world that is on the verge of disaster.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set thousands of years before the event in JRR Tolkien's book The Economy and The Lord of the Rings.

The first season of The Rings of Power garnered success when Prime Video stated that the series was watched by more than 100 million people worldwide, with streaming time of more than 32 billion minutes. 25 million global viewers on its first day - marked the biggest premiere in Prime Video history.

Season two of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is produced by showrunners and executive producers JD Payne and Patrick McKay. Sanaa Hamri and Louisemen participated in the directorship chair in the latest season together with Charlotte Brbakndstr\"om.

The second season of The Rings of Power will be released on August 29 on Prime Video.
