JAKARTA - Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) took part in the activity in the form of the "Green and Trendy" Trunk Show featuring the latest fashion works from nine IFC member designers. The event will be held on April 26, 2024, at the Sarinah Building 6th Floor.

The designers who participated in the Trunk Show Green and Trendy were Mrs. Indo's Batik from Priscilla Saputro, Priricilla Margie, Ratri Wijaya, Boldsession X Arra Jewelry, Listya Ayu, Hendri Budiman, Elly Virgo, Paradise Batik, and Rengganis.

These designers displayed their works with the theme "Green and Trendy" by emphasizing the importance of sustainability in the fashion industry.

The term Green in question is concern for the environment through a responsible production process, with the hope of making a meaningful contribution to the development of the Indonesian fashion industry and the preservation of Indonesian wastra culture.

This is in line with the vision and mission of the IFC which has been committed to advancing the Indonesian fashion industry in a more sustainable and ethical direction. So with great enthusiasm the IFC also supports the 2024 Wastra Fashion Fest (KAWFEST) Kelana activities in the hope of jointly protecting Indonesian earth and culture, as well as introducing the local fashion industry to the world.

'Wastra Indonesia is a force in our fashion industry that makes it different from the modes of other countries. So this event is very positive in order to promote the use of more wastra in the fashion industry," said Lenny Agustin, National Chair Indonesian Fashion Chamber quoted by VOI from a press release, Sunday, April 28.
