Almost A Year Of Fighting, Babe Cabita Finally Dies Due To Aplastic Anemia

JAKARTA - Babe Cabita celebrity finally breathed his last today, Tuesday, April 9 at 06.38 WIB at Mayapada Hospital Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.

Before being brought to the mosque for prayers, Babe Cabita's father, Irsyad Tanjung, said that the cause of his son's death was due to an plastic anemia he had suffered since June 2023.

"He has been sick since June 2023. According to the doctor's statement, he has an unusual blood disorder called an aplastic anemia," said Irsyad Tanjung in the Cirendeu area, South Tangerang, Tuesday, April 9.

Previously, Irsyad said that Babe had been hospitalized in Indonesia before being taken for treatment in Kuala Lumpur in January 2024.

"In November 2023 we took him for treatment at Siloam Hospital in Jakarta. A few weeks there we transferred him to the Sunway Medical Center Hospital in Kuala Lumpur until January 2024," he explained.

"In January because he felt he had recovered, he returned to Jakarta and in February he Umrah with his family. After returning home, at the end of February he dropped back. So since February we have taken him back to Sunway Medical Center Kuala Lumpur Hospital," he added.

After 10 days of being treated Babe's condition, it was said that she had improved and had the desire to spend time with her family. Unfortunately that hope could not be realized.

"Two days at home we took him back to Mayapada Hospital Lebak Bulus. For about a week he was treated there until this morning he breathed his last. Alhamdulillah, God willing, we are sincere because we have made various efforts as possible to take him for treatment and recovery," he concluded.
