Julia Garner Officially Joins Marvel's The Fantastic Four

JAKARTA - The new name has been officially added to Marvel's list of The Fantastic Four players. Actress Julia Garner will play the Shalla-Bal, the Silver Surfer's character is a different version in Marvel comics.

He will compete with the previous four names who joined, namely Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Marvel has not responded to this news.

Fantastic Four will be directed by Matt Shakman who previously worked on WandaVision. The script was written by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan, Ian Springer and Eric Pearson.

The story hasn't been revealed yet but looking at the Ben Grimm poster, the Fantastic Four are astronauts designed to be heroes according to the comic version. They will have super powers like elastic, turning into flames, invisible to powers like monsters.

The character of Silver Surfer was first played by Doug Jones and was filled by the voice Often Fishburne who was present in the film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Julia Garner is a phenomenal actress, earned various Emmy and Golden Globe nominations thanks to acting loans such as Ozark, The Americans, Dirty John, and Inventing Anna.

In addition, he is also projected to star in the film Wolf Man of Leigh Totalnell and Apartment 7A directed by actor John Krasinski.

Fantastic Four production will begin this summer, for theatrical release on July 25, 2025.
