Hadiths About 7 Big Sins That Damaged And Unable To Forgive Allah SWT

YOGYAKARTA For Muslims, Allah SWT forgives his servants who commit sins. However, based on hadith there are seven major sins that must be watched out for because Allah cannot forgive SWT. Hadith about 7 great sins should serve as a reminder to all Muslims.

The Prophet Muhammad SAW once mentioned several major sins called destructive sins. Bukhari narrated the Hadith, the following.

"Stay away from the seven destructive sins! Friends ask, "Rasulullah, what are these sins?" He replied, "(1) shirks Allah, (2) magic, (3) kills the souls forbidden by Allah, (4) consumes usury, (5) consumes the property of orphans, (6) turns away from war, and (7) accuses adultery against women who guard honor." (HR. Bukhari).

Syirik is an act that in the form ofEATing Allah SWT, an example of worshiping statues, worshiping trees, asking dzat other than Allah SWT, and so on. This act is a destructive sin. Even Allah SWT firmly rejects it in the Koran letter An-Nisa verse 116 about syirik.

"Indeed, Allah will not forgive the sins that accuse Him, but He will forgive sins other than the acts of shirk for whom He wants. Anyone who associates with Allah, then he has indeed got lost as far as he can."

Muslims are prohibited from believing or even using witchcraft magic in their life, going to shamans to get something, asking fortune tellers to predict fate, and so on.

Whoever goes to the fortune teller or shaman and then believes what he says (convincing that the shaman and fortune teller know everything that is unknown), then he has been infidel about the teachings that were passed down to the Prophet Muhammad. (HR al-Hakim).

In addition, Allah SWT alludes to magic in the Qur'an surah Al-Baqarah verse 102, which is as follows.

And they followed what was read by the demons during the Sulaiman kingdom. Sulaiman was not infidel but the demons were infidels, they taught magic to humans and what was passed down to two angels in the Babylonian land, namely Harut and Marut. Even though both did not teach anyone anything before saying, "We are just trials (for you), so don't be infidels." So they learn from both (the angel) what (can) separate one (husband) from his wife. They will not be able to harm anyone except by Allah's permission. They learn something that harms them, and don't benefit them. And really, they already know, whoever buys (using magic) it, will certainly not benefit in the hereafter. And really, it is very bad for those who sell themselves with magic, if they know."

The act of killing a person is not only prohibited by human law, but is forbidden religiously. Allah bless you in the Qur'an surah Al-Maidah verse 32.

"Therefore, We set a law for Bani Israil, that whoever kills a human being for no valid reason, or without resolving a murder case or without making damage on earth, it is as if he has killed all mankind. And whoever keeps a human being's life, it is as if he has maintained the lives of all mankind. In fact, Our Prophets have come to them with clear information, but many of them after that are truly beyond the limits in doing damage in front of the earth."

Riba is setting additional rates for loans that are late to be paid. This act is included in the classification of major sins and is even forbidden in Islam as described in Al-Imran verse 130.

"O believers! Don't eat usury by doubling, and be wary of Allah so that you get blessings.

In Islam, orphans get a very noble position. In fact, Allah SWT forbids a person to eat the property of orphans. Allah offends orphans in the Koran surah an-Nisa' paragraph 10.

"Indeed, people who eat the property of orphans wrongly, in fact they swallow fire in their stomach and they will enter the burning fire (cheating)".

Escapeing from the war is not only considered a coward but is considered a destructive act. Allah SWT trust me in surah Al-Anfapul verse 15-16.

O believers, if you meet infidels who are trying, then don't turn your back on them (backward). Whoever turned his back on them (backward) at that time, except for turning for (sikat) war or wanting to merge with other troops, then that person actually came back by bringing your back from All Allah, and the place was hell. And it's a very bad place to go back.

This sin is included in acts of slander. Allah SWT entrusts it in surah An-Nur verse 4, which is as follows.

"And the people who accuse good women (licensed) and they do not bring in four witnesses, so they beat them eight dozen times, and don't accept their testimony forever. They are the people you love."
