Ryan Gosling Will Sing I'm Just Ken At Oscar 2024

JAKARTA - Ryan Gosling is rumored to be one of the performers in the 2024 Oscars next month. It looks like Gosling will sing I'm Just Ken which is one of the songs from the Barbie film.

Launching Variety, Ryan Gosling and producer Mark Ronson are planned to appear on one stage. However, Oscar refused to respond to this rumor.

This song received a Best Original Song nomination along with Ryan Gosling who received a Best Supporting Actor nomination.

When this song won a similar award at the Critics Choice Awards, Ryan Gosling looked surprised and chose to sit down and not receive the trophy.

Mark Ronson, who wrote the song, also stated that he would not perform the song without Ryan Gosling. Therefore, they had released a special mini album to celebrate Christmas 2023.

"I think if Ryan didn't do it, then we wouldn't," said Mark Ronson.

At the time of separation, Ryan Gosling also stated that he was open if asked to sing the song. However, he admitted that he had not received an invitation from the Oscar committee.

"Maybe it's too risky for me to do it. I don't know how but I'm open to that opportunity," Ryan Gosling said.

Barbie film received eight nominations at Oscar 2024 which will be held on March 11.
