First Mediation Hasn't Met A Bright Spot, Ria Ricis And Teuku Ryan's Trial Continues

JAKARTA - The trial for the first divorce between Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan which was held at the South Jakarta Religious Court is known to have not found a bright spot after the two underwent mediation.

Teuku Ryan's attorney, Dedi Armidi, said that the mediation that lasted for approximately 2 hours was still trying to reconcile between his client and Ria Ricis.

"Still trying. So it is extraordinary that the mediator who leads this is extraordinary. So he is still trying to happen to be a mother. So he understands very well how the condition of the household is only two years old," said Dedi Armidi at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Monday, February 19.

Dedi emphasized that the mediators who were summoned from the South Jakarta Religious Court immediately tried to mediate with Ricis and Ryan by looking for the similarities between the two.

"Oh no (alot), it's normal. Indeed, the short-time problem is very relative. But in this case the mediator continues to try not to find differences but to find equations which of course are very difficult," he continued.

Furthermore, Dedi explained that during the mediation, Ricis and Ryan were asked about the background for their divorce. Ryan was also given the opportunity to give reasons he wanted to maintain his household.

"No one is really tough, but from heart to heart. I always tell Ria that Ria is also asked her background. Ryan was also given the opportunity to explain everything so they exchanged ideas," he concluded.
