Comedian Komeng returned to being a conversation after his photo which was considered 'yeleneh' in the West Java DPD ballot suddenly went viral. Not only that, Komeng's statement regarding his willingness to resign when his vision and mission as a DPD failed to become a topic of conversation again. This was conveyed by the owner of the real name Alfiansyah Bustami Komeng when he was present on one of the television programs. Komeng realized that the authority in the Regional Representative Council (DPD) was not as big as the authority in the House of Representatives (DPR). But for Komeng this is a good start from his efforts in advancing artistic culture in Indonesia, especially in the West Java region where his electoral district (dapil) is. "So you see, the DPD does not have too much authority, there is more authority from the DPR, but it should be taken into account, maybe the initial basic path is how the DPD can be taken into account, let alone get the authority, if the authority is good," said Komeng, quoted by VOI from YouTube TRANS7 Official, Friday, February 16. This 53-year-old man tried to build an art building through the Paski group or the Indonesian Comedy Artists Association but it turned out to be unsuccessful. However, Komeng firmly stated that his vision and mission failed when he officially became a member of the DPD, so he was ready to resign from his position. "Well, I'm trying to go to the DPD, that's the problem, the authority is not too much like the DPR, not too strong, if it is West Java (not happy), I resigned, I moved to DPD Afghanistan," he concluded.
