Netizens Consider The Rugrats Serial Reboot Teaser To Be Creepy

JAKARTA - Paramount + is the newest streaming platform under the auspices of Viacom. Therefore, various contents under Viacom will be released through this platform.

For viewers who are undergoing adolescence in the '90s, they are certainly no stranger to the Rugrats series. This iconic cartoon series was delighted by viewers when it aired on television.

Realizing the longing, Paramount + will reboot Rugrats for a new series that still tells about groups of talking babies. Interestingly, the original voice actors are confirmed to have joined this project.

A short teaser was released following the announcement. However, there were viewers who gave criticism.

50 seconds long, this teaser features an entirely different series of Rugrats. They use computer animation for the latest version.

"Can you let my favorite childhood cartoon show be like it used to be?" wrote one Twitter user after seeing the Rugrats teaser.

“Rugrats original artstyle is iconic, beautifully textured exudes movement and character. How do we get this one? "

"To be honest I think this is the wrong way, I prefer 2D animation and make a new story about the baby from Rugrats, it looks bad and lazy," said another user who tweeted back the teaser.

Citizens think the Rugrats teaser released by Paramount + is creepy and even strange. But Paramount + has not responded to criticism.

Apart from Rugrats, the Dora the Explorer and Fairly Odd Parents series are available in a live action format as well as a Star Trek animation with a spin-off. Paramount + will open in the United States on March 4.
