Lee Do Hyun Creates Transformation For Film Debut, Exhuma

JAKARTA - Actor Lee Do Hyun performed differently for his first film, Exhuma. This mystery film will soon air this year and receive an invitation to air at the 74th Berlin Film Festival.

Lee Do Hyun plays Bong Gil, a young shaman who works with Hwa Rim, played by Kim Go Eun. Bong Gil was a baseball athlete and chose to go out to become a shaman.

A number of the latest photos show Lee Do Hyun looking different from her patterned hair and a tattoo that adorns her wrist. Another photo shows the actor in white clothes and looking at someone's feet.

"I can say he's 180 percent in sync with Bong Gil. His modern appearance and charisma make good energy," said Jang Jae Hyun as director.

"Actor Lee Do Hyun has extraordinary abilities, meeting extreme difficult scenes with his abilities as an actor," he continued.

Lee Do Hyun has been known for his roles in various drama titles such as Youth of May, The Good Bad Mother, The Glory, Sweet Home, and others.

Lee Do Hyun himself has been serving in the military since August 14 through a military band in the Korean Air Force.

Exhuma tells the story of a wealthy family living in Los Angeles calling a group of shamans: Hwa Rim (Kim Go Eun) and Bong Gil (Lee Do Hyun) to save their newborn baby from a psychic incident.

The two shamans suspected that there was a dark shadow of the ancestors attached to their families and called them Graves Calling. They tried to dig graves by asking for help from the Deok and funeral officer Yong Geun (Yoo Hae Jin).

Exhuma will premiere in February in theaters.
