Ammar Zoni Can't Present Witnesses, Irish Bella's Divorce Lawsuit Session Will Be Decided February 1

JAKARTA - The divorce trial for Ammar Zoni and Irish Bella was held again with the agenda of witnesses from Ammar at the Depok Religious Court on Thursday, January 18.

In the previous week, Ammar Zoni was given the opportunity to attend the trial, unfortunately he again failed to bring witnesses. Therefore, according to Irish Bella's attorney, Nurul Amalia, the Ammar opportunity had been fulfilled by the panel of judges.

"Today, the defendant is still a witness from the defendant, but the defendant does not present witnesses, so it is sufficient," said Nurul Amalia at the Depok Religious Court, Thursday, January 18.

Seeing this, Nurul explained that the replication, duplicate, and evidence agenda had been completed so that the next trial would have an online conclusion.

"So for the duplicate replica agenda and the proof has been completed, the next trial is through ecourt again with a conclusion agenda," said Nurul.

Then the trial with a decision agenda has been scheduled for February 1.

"The verdict has also been determined on February 1st. There are already provisions for the conclusion on January 25 and the decision on February 1," explained Nurul Amalia.

On the other hand, Ammar Zoni's attorney, Jon Mathias, tried to explain the reason the witness, a former employee from his client, was not present. He said that his absence was due to his work at another company.

"Yes, they can't, not us, we don't want to, yes, we are very happy if he is present, right, but yes, because they already work with other companies, automatically we can't force it because this civil witness is voluntary, not mandatory," he concluded.
