Our Interpreter tells the story of Lin Xi (Victoria Song), an interpreter who is known to be reliable in the translation industry. One day, he meets his ex-girlfriend, Xiao Yi Cheng (Chen Xing Xu).

Eight years ago, they ended their relationship because Lin Xi complied with his mother's request for him to focus on his career. His mother hopes that Lin Xi will become a professional interpretationer in the United States.

Eight years later, Lin Xi became a professional interpretationer at Huasheng, while Xiao Yi Cheng became a leader in a communications company so Xiao Yi Cheng could potentially become Lin Xi's client candidate.
