Al Ula's History, Saudi Arabia's Economy City Visited By BCL

JAKARTA - Bunga Citra Lestari or BCL is again a public concern in the midst of its Umrah moment. He was seen visiting the city of Al Ula which was considered cursed in Saudi Arabia.

BCL and his family went to Al Ula as he uploaded via social media. He was seen taking pictures with his husband, Tiko Aryawardhana and his son, Noah Sinclair.

Not long after, one of the netizens said Al Ula was the cursed city there.

Al Ula is one of the cities located in Medina, Saudi Arabia. This city is one of the cities of ancient Arab history that has a history and is filled with monuments, artifacts, and inscriptions.

UNESCO also called Al Ula in Hegra one of the oldest heritages. Archaeologists say the development in that place is not an ordinary person's job.

Now, Al Ula is a tourist destination that offers historical and culinary tourism and cultural wealth. However, long before achieving this transformation, Al Ula was related to the unforgettable history of Islam.

Launching Islamic Information, the history of the city of Al Ula began in the pre-Dadan period or about three and a half thousand years ago. The Prophet Muhammad SAW had crossed the area but processed the water served.

The Prophet Muhammad SAW chose to drink water from the well that was eaten by his camel. He accelerated his steps and did not look to the left or right when passing through the city.

The Tsamud also asked for the punishment which was then granted by Allah SWT according to what was written in Al A'raf 77. Allah SWT then lowered the punishment starting with the sound of lightning, large shocks, and falling stones such as earthquakes.

The era of the Tsamud and Prophet Shaleh passed until the Prophet Muhammad SAW passed through the valley and explained not to touch the area.

Although it is called cursed, the Al Ula region has begun to be converted into a tourist destination. The Saudi Arabian government held Vision 2030 where Al Ula is targeted to be a museum with a luxury resort.

Launching its official website, Al Ula is the first UNESCO world heritage in Saudi Arabia with 200,000 historical years including the city of Hegra in Nabatean, the Ancient Kingdom of Dadanite and Lihyanite, and all areas can be explored.
