Saipul Jamil Grateful That His Assistant Was Arrested For Using Drugs

JAKARTA - The security of Saipul Jamil's artist is said to have arrested his assistant, Steven (25), a drug user. Saipul appreciated the incident.

"With an incident like this I am grateful. It turns out that people near me are indicated to be drugs. At first I didn't know," said Saipul Jamil at a press conference at the Tambora Police, West Jakarta, on Saturday, January 6.

Saipul admitted that he did not believe that his personal assistant was a drug user because he had never disappointed, honest and sincere during his work.

"So I also couldn't believe that my personal assistant was one of the drug users. He was never disappointing while working, he was an honest, sincere person," said Saipul.

The nature of S while working, said Saipul, made him not think that S was a drug user. "That's why I didn't expect him to be involved in drugs," said Saipul.

For the drug case involving his assistant, Saipul admitted that he had to be careful to choose workers.

"That's why here I have to be careful now choosing friends, choosing prospective workers. Must be really selective because what I think is good turns out to be like this," he said.

Based on a urine examination conducted by the police on Friday (5/1), S was tested positive for methamphetamine. Sedy Saipul Jamil tested negative.

"When a urine test was carried out, the suspect in S urine contained amphetamine and methamphetamine, while Brother Saipul Jamil was negative," said West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Police M Syahduddi.
